What is Polyaspartic made of? It is a type of polyurea that has undergone changes to make it UV stable and stronger. Just like Corvette is a type of Chevrolet, Polyasprtic is a type of Polyurea. Polyurea that is not a polyaspartic is cheap, weak, and will yellow unlike polyaspartic. Polyasartic has 'give' 'resilience' or 'flexibility' so that when impacts hit it, it 'gives' and then returns to its normal position opposed to epoxy which can not flex and therefore cracks under pressure.
